Sewing day

I wanted to make some new things for our new baby girl.  We have decided that her name will be Londyn and so I made it official by embroidering her name on her burp cloths.  These are my favorite and you can never have enough of them.  These are a few of the ones I did.  My sweet Mother was so kind to crochet around the edges of them for me.  I just don't have the patients to do it, and she is super fast!

I always wanted to try to make one of these rag quilts but thought it had to be too complex.  I was so surprised how simple it was and I got to utilize all my scraps I had from making the burp cloths.

This is another blanket I made.  Going through the fabric department while you are nesting is just a bad combination.  It is so fun to be looking at the frilly pink stuff again.

This is the car seat cover I made.  It was not too difficult and I loved the print.  I ordered a new cover for the blue car seat I had for Kaden and I was so excited when I found this fabric that matched almost perfectly for the cover.

The polka dots went quite well with it.

See...doesn't the flower print match almost perfectly?  I am so glad I was able to get some cute new things made for little Londyn!
