Happy Birthday to me!

 I was so excited when my little Sis called (or should I say text) to tell me that she was coming to see me for my Birthday.  It totally made turning the Big 35 so much easier!!  It was only for a few days but we had a great time.  Mom & Dad came down from Idaho and we all got to hang out and tell stories from the good ol' days.  My children did a great job entertaining us too.

Aunt Mandi had some tattoos on her calves from her run she had done.  So, Kaden thought it was a cool thing and had to have Mickey Mouse tattoos.  Thanks Mandi!!  He still has some on his little body...he won't let me take them off!  

Thank you Mandi Pandy for a great weekend!!  I'm so glad you were able to meet Londyn and spend some much needed family time!  Love you!!

Londyn is 4 weeks

 My sweet baby girl is already 4 weeks old. Really??  It does not seem like that much time could have already gone by. 

 She is showing off her white tongue.  I hate that she got thrush, yet somehow all my kids always get it.  It doesn't make sense because I'm the obsessive Mom that boils the pacifiers everyday and its over the top about hand washing.  To top things off, I got mastitis this past week.  I just always seem to get it.  I thought I just over did it for Megan's party last Friday but by Sunday afternoon I was feverish and had to call the Dr and get put on antibiotic.  Fun times!!  

This cracked me up, she found her little thumb all by herself.

She really worked it for about five minutes....and then

she was fast asleep!  She is a pacifier girl already.  She loves to suck and suck and suck.  I'm just glad she is happy with a pacifier and it's not me!

Londyn is 3 weeks old

This is sad to say but this is the first picture of me and my little girl.  Who knows how it happened but the hospital was a blur and I just now figured out that I didn't have any pictures with her.  

She is such a little sweetie and I am loving every minute of having a newborn in the house again.

She is really long and skinny.  The girls wished that she would be little and not a chubby baby.  I think they got their wish...she sure is a long & skinny little thing!

Here is Grandma with Londyn.  I knew they couldn't stay in Idaho too long without having to have another visit.  They change way too fast to stay away too long.

Happy 11th Birthday Megan!!

Happy 11th Birthday Miss Megan!!  I can't believe she is already this old.  Megan is such a delight to have around and she loves to help her Mom.  Here is Megan with her favorite cake...Texas Sheet Cake!  I had only been home from the hospital for 3 days so Grandma Williams helped me with the cake.  We had Megan's favorite meal for dinner which was roast, potatoes & gravy, carrots & rolls.

 Megan had her party on Friday the 13th of Jan.  We had 7 girls come over and had a great time.  We had pizza from Papa Murphy's and we set up the chocolate fountain and dipped yummy stuff all night long.  I wish I would have taken a picture.  Kylie & her friend Sheridyn decorated for me and it looked amazing, but again...no pictures.  I'm just not quite myself just yet.

Megan was sooo super excited to get this hammock from her friend Hayven.  Now we have to figure out the best place to hang it.

She had a great time @ her party.  She is always so understanding with her Birthday being at Christmas time.  I'm glad we were able to pull the party off with me just having Londyn 3 weeks ago.

Megan is such a good girl.  She is growing up too fast.  I am so glad to be her Mother and she is such a delight to have around.  Happy Happy 11th Birthday sweet Megan!  Love you!!

Christmas Day 2011

Here is our most favorite Christmas present we received..... Londyn Ellie Pressley.

Londyn had a sponge bath and was not the biggest fan. Maybe when her cord comes off she will like the real thing.

What a cute little thing!  This is on Megan's Birthday the 26th.  Londyn is 4 days old.

Londyn's Birth Day

Here I am all ready to have a baby!  This is the LAST pregnancy picture you will see of me!!  I am so excited to have our family complete with with arrival of little Londyn.  So the story goes that we arrived at the hospital at 9pm and found out that they couldn't start any cervix ripening stuff until midnight when I was officially 39 weeks.  It is some strange Utah law that they won't induce you until you are 39 weeks unless you have a medical reason.  At midnight I was dilated to a 3cm & 75% effaced so they finally were able to give me some cervix ripening medicine.  At 4am I was at 4 cm. They started pitocin @ 5:15am and I got an epidural at 5:30am.  Londyn was having decels in her heart rate so they put an internal monitor on so they could watch her closer.  At 7:55am I was still @ 4cm. so they broke my water. At 8:35am I was @ 5cm and then @ 9:15 I was a 10...complete and ready to push.  I waited for Dr Young to get there for 15 minutes and in 1 contraction and 2 pushes Londyn was born.  My video was a whopping 32 seconds...I guess that what happens after 5 kids!  She was born @ 9:39am and weighed 8lbs. 4 oz.  She was 20 inches long and was perfect in every way.

This is Dr. Young that was amazing and barely made it to the hospital to deliver Londyn.  I was told not to move or shift in the bed and waited for him for 15 minutes.  I should get some kind of a discount for that.

We are so blessed to have little Londyn join our family!  What a blessing to have just 3 days before Christmas.  We are truly thankful for the many blessings of this season.

This is on July 15, 2011.  I was 16 weeks along.  We were having a picnic with Grandpa & Grandma Pressley in the American Fork Canyon behind our house.

This is on August 14, 2011.  I was 20 weeks along.  I just found out we are having a girl last week!  We are in Yellowstone National Park with Grandma Gates, Grandma Williams, Papa & Aunt Mandi.

This is on September 4, 2011 - Labor Day weekend.  I was 23 weeks along.  We went up to Park City, Utah to enjoy the last of summer.  We are at Olympic Park & the girls are all having fun riding the zip lines & alpine slide.

This is on November 11, 2011.  I was 33 weeks along.  We are getting ready to go to Amanda's wedding reception.  Grandma & Papa are visiting and we are busy making baby blankets & burp clothes for sweet baby girl.

This is on December 16, 2011. I was 38 weeks along.  This was my Grandma Gates 82nd Birthday & I really wanted to have a baby today.  Instead, I hosted an office Christmas party @ my house.  I think I deserve wife of the year for this one!  

This is December 22, 2011.  12:30am.... so barely December 22nd!  We had been in the hospital since 9pm and they finally admitted me and started the cervix ripening stuff.  I am all smiles at this point, all ready to meet our new baby girl!
